Blue Flower

May the road rise to meet you, May the wind be always at your back,

May the sun shine warm upon your face, the rain fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, May God hold you in the Palm of His Hand!

This blessing welcomed our representation of about twenty English Koinonia members at a long weekend with our brothers and sisters from Koinonia in Ireland at the beginning of May.

What an amazing weekend! Powerful Bible based teaching, charismatic praise, physical healings, transformed lives, new friendships made and lots of fun.

Koinonia John the Baptist organised a weekend course called the Emmaus Course, which leads the participants into a personal relationship with the Word of God. There were 48 brothers and sisters on the weekend, including 10 young adults. To find out more about future events, please contact us on

Koinonia John the Baptist England is a community of friends, belonging to the Catholic Church. We are part of an international federation of communities present in 24 nations throughout the world.

The community consists of people who have experienced Jesus in their lives in a personal way: single and married people, as well as consecrated sisters and brothers (some of whom are also priests) who live in community full time.

Every community in the Church receives a distinct call or charism. When Saint John Paul II invited the Church to a ‘New Evangelisation’ in 1983 Koinonia heard their call.

Our mission is to be at the service of the New Evangelisation. We do this in many ways,

We hold weekly Houses of Prayer in many parts of England. We meet in small community groups for fellowship and every few months we meet as a whole community for prayer.

Time of great joy - 28 of us from Koinonia in England and Scotland went over to spend the weekend with our brothers and sisters from Koinonia in Belfast. We had fantastic praise and worship, seminars on our KeKaKo spirituality and great fellowship.

We thank Lord for this fantastic time and our brothers! Thank you for receiving me!
